UPDATE: Tomorrow’s Stargazing event is canceled due to inclement weather. With rain and thunderstorms in the forecast, we’re hitting pause on our first rooftop stargazing night with Morehead Planetarium and DJ Mic Check. We’re working with the Morehead team to lock in a new May date and will share updates soon.

Thanks for your understanding — we can’t wait to stargaze with you under clearer skies.

To the stars! Join us on the Roof Tuesday, May 13th for the return of our stargazing series hosted by Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. Come up to the open-air Roof for telescopic stargazing with Morehead educators and music from DJ Mic Check.  In this session, Morehead astronomy educators will be focusing on Jupiter and Mars.

DJ Mic Check will spin out-of-this-world tunes 7:30-9:30pm. Stargazing will take place 8:30-10:30pm. The Roof opens at 5pm so you can kick off the night with shareable plates, craft cocktails, and sunset views.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
