Thursday, October 16 | 5:00–9 PM | The Coffee Bar at The Durham
$200 per person | Limited Seating
Hosted at The Durham Hotel in our first floor dining space, we invite you to slow down and immerse yourself in a seven-course, scent-forward group dining experience unlike any other.
Guided by the essence of sweetgrass — a plant native to North Carolina and steeped in tradition — each dish transforms fragrance into flavor, memory into emotion, and dining into an act of artful reflection. With every course, Bright Black — leaders in creating unforgettable scent experiences — will curate moments that awaken your senses and spark connection.
From dueling spring rolls — one brimming with roasted beets and persimmon, the other with truffled wild mushrooms — to a smoked pistachio crème brûlée that lingers long after the last bite, this is a dinner designed to be savored, not rushed.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a curated variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to complement the sensory journey while scent installations, guided prompts, and shared storytelling transform the meal into an exploration of aroma, flavor, and memory.
Seats are limited. Join us for an evening that will stay with you long after the final note fades, because to savor is to remember.
